The Danger of Pesticides and Chemicals
Whatever we are consuming today is firstly all mass produced, it is hardly organic and if it is organically produced, it is extremely expensive for majority to consume. You have no idea what kind of harmful chemicals and pesticides are sprayed on the food that you are taking. The use of harmful chemicals and pesticides is one of the reasons as to why the agriculture sector is continually being questioned for its authenticity and whether we are even getting the “pure” food crops that we are guaranteed in the first place or not. The fruits, the vegetables, the essential food crops, they are all being victim to this unsafe practice in the agriculture sector and we are all being a victim to it on a daily basis.
Despite being sprayed on land, pesticides frequently find their way into bodies of water including rivers, oceans, and ponds. For instance: Runoff from such an orchid may transport pesticides to a nearby stream. Many fishes and other creatures may perish and become ill if the toxins contaminate a body of water. Leeching, a method for affecting pesticides, can also have an impact on groundwater. Many people rely on groundwater as their only source of drinking water, but if that water contains pesticides, it is unsafe for them to consume. As a result, this may disrupt the balance of the entire ecosystem on the whole.
This is one of the reason as to why, people today are moving towards making well informed choices to have a healthy and wholesome life for themselves. Now it is up to you whether you opt for the mass produced items or you switch to organic produce that may be a little pricey but it is still real food and does not have harmful effects on the human health altogether.
