1 . PHYSICAL NEEDS OF A CHILD:
Circadian rhythms are physical, mental, and behavioral changes that follow a 24-hour cycle. Natural processes of living beings respond to light and dark. One example of a light-related circadian rhythm is sleeping at night. A child to experience deep sleep must be active throughout the day. The ritual of switching off radiations at night. Putting mobile phones on aeroplane mode helps reduce electromagnetic pollution. Dimming the lights help children to perceive its nighttime. And telling them that "the sun is gone to sleep we will wake up with the sun." I resist any outdoor play at Magrib time (as that is the time shayateen spread)
Eating healthy food is a physical & mental necessity. What we eat, has a prominent effect on our cells & brain cells. Sleep is also a brain-food. Lack of nutrients can put our body in a state of dis-ease (lack of ease) Infact I always quote, 'Food is thy best medicine.'
‘Eating together’ is a social activity, it evolves in civilizations. How nations ate? what traditions they followed? What spices they used? What is the pharmacological effects of condiments on our body? The whole science behind herbology, organic farming, naturopathy is very orderly. Our body's cells completely change in 10 years span. Giving us new set of cells. Our genes instruct healthy cell growth. Nourishing nutrients play a role in making genes do its job or not do anything at all.
‘Sitting is the new smoking’ which I understand as movement is a metaphoric Medicine. These days, more and more of us live sedentary lifestyles. Desk jobs, long commutes and Netflix binges, many of us are getting too little daily movement. Problem is, the more we sit, the less “brain food” we get. Research shows that every time we move our joints in our body, it sends proprioceptive input to our brain—that is, our body releases hormones that help build and fuel our brain. For the longest time, no one knew that smoking was bad for us. Eventually, it became pretty obvious that smoking carries many health risks. We have advanced into a day in age where we all sit and don’t move a lot, to the point where it’s becoming a slow, silent killer. Our posture affects the way we think and function, beyond back pain or discomfort. Comfort has killed more dreams than failure. Contributing to our poor posture we are developing nerd necks. Disrupting the body’s ability to send important hormone-releasing signals. Thus, sickness prevails.
