The Natural Learning of a child occurs in an environment where his self-esteem, self confidence, inner strength, self assurance, positive self-image, self admiration, self worth & self-love is not damaged. Such a child explores surfaces, connects with nature, takes a magnifying glass in the garden, runs after butterflies, discovers colors. A child is a wayfarer who is bound to explore on his journey of life. His inner strengths are curiosity and his innate skill of learning all the time makes him an abecedarian.
A living being is full of energy, to tame him in a way that he only follows our orders is not justice with the creation of Allah. Allah has sent him as a khalifah on earth, directing them and showing them the light of truth is our duty but squeezing them into meaningless schedules is transgression of Allah’s boundaries. Moderation of “restrictions” is the key to maintaining a healthy relationship with our children. Children copy their parents. If they will witness us working on a project, farming, fixing things in the house, making our own beds, cleaning our garbage, they will follow our pursuit. Learners make learning. Learners create learning. The reason that this has been forgotten is that the activity of learning has been made into a product called "education," Just as the activity the discipline, of caring for one's health has become the product of "medical cue," and the activity of inquiring into the world has become the product of "science," a specialized thing presumably done only by people with billions of dollars of complicated apparatus. But health is not a product and science is something you and I do every day of our lives. In fact, the word science is synonymous with the word learning. We are a product of education, medical indications and science, taken directly from people who have taken from systems, created by governments and controlled by Elites. Our wars, world recessions and budgets are dictated by the Elites. I am not a big fan of NASA, without NASA we knew galaxies, meteorites existed, the portals mentioned in the Quran; First, by which Prophet Salalahu Alayhe waslm transmitted to the next world in Miraaj, second by which Amir (the man of knowledge) who promised Sulieman Alayhis Salam to bring Queen Saba’s throne in a blink of an eye. Haven’t we forgotten our sciences in the Quran? Which need more Muslim Researchers to investigate. What was elm which Amir possessed? According to this Wikipedia article: Budget of NASA The total amount of the Congressionally allocated budgets of NASA between its founding in 1958 and 2011 was $790 billion when adjusted for inflation. That’s for its whole 53-year history. Just for comparison, the US military’s discretionary spending was $598.5 billion for the year 2015 alone.

"What would you do in this situation? When you are waiting in a queue of traffic to join the main road. There are lots of cars infront of you and no sideways to move to. A woman drives up behind you and joins the queue. Two minutes later beeps her horn at you. You look in the rear mirror, you have no idea why she is beeping you? And staring in niqaab. Nothing you can do or move anywhere!? And later she is flashing her headlights at you LOL This is 3pm so thankfully lights are not blinding you. What would you do?"
Authorities are careful about illegal car parking. There are speed cameras, mobile snippers & fines for not using seat belts. But what will I call the above? Wondering how would this happen on camels? Qatar has one of the finest cars but poorest drivers. Which includes me in the list :( One wonders why the traffic is so reckless in Doha? Because I am on road :P The random changing of lanes is a norm. Overtaking from right without use of indicators. Why are people in an urgency syndrome? In my humble opinion it can be twofold 1) Quality of driving test 2) Effect of culture. All types of drivers come in Doha, from coming from different parts of the world. Although you will never find a drunk driver (mumnoo'a). The way heat, complacence & urgency drives people here is ver disturbing. As a female driver, I always buckle my children. I limit my distractions while driving. "Love them, buckle them" I recieved my driving license in Doha after going through the painstaking classes. Now when I drive the car along side my husband (who has a UK driving license) he constantly keeps on jumping off the passenger seat & notifying me of my mistakes. Most of the times my reply is that I do not know that this is a mistake & with time we conclude that the driving classes conducted here prepared me to pass the test & not drive ! In Qatar, not more people die of diseases as of car accidents. Sensible & decent driving is a major tool to survive in this city.
Qatar, a piece of land engulfed in Mediterranean sea, tiny dot on the map. In the pictures above, you can see the Persian coast. blending in sand, sand which gathers into dunes, dunes which forms maze in valleys, valleys which welcome bewilderment, a confusion, confusion of different lifestyles, nomadic versus non-nomadism? Expats live like nomads here. We all know we are temporarily settled in Qatar. Even if you are born here, you are not considered a permanent habitant on a paper. Nomadic it is, falcon-hunting and fishing for pearls. Search for wild plants,a game in it. Nomadism is by far the oldest human sustenance method. Raising herds, driving them in long haul on this sun-land. This has changed now due to urbanization. Qatari lifestyle blends East with West. Despite living as Bedouins dependent on technology. For the desert is always surprising, even though you may have known it for years. Sometimes, when you think you can see it in all its rigidity and emptiness. Desert awakens from its dream, sends forth its breath - and tender, pale-green grass suddenly where only yesterday there was nothing but sand, suddenly pebbles. It sends forth its breath again- & a flock of small birds flutters through the air - from where? where to? - slim bodied, long winged, emerald-green; or a swarm of locusts rises up above the earth with a rush and zoom, grey and grim and endless like a horde of hungry warriors... Life in its majesty; majesty of sparseness, always surprising, herein lies the whole nameless scent of Arabia, of sand deserts like this one and of the many other changing landscapes. I have taken the above passage from M.Asad's book The Road to Makkah.
Arabia world had known for years, for its backwardness. Its tribal lineages, its intact clans, its old fashioned restrictive ideas. Rigid attitudes because life here was so less molded by modern human hands. After the Balfour Declaration of 1917, which promised Jews a Homeland in Palestine. Britishers never considered Arabia as something nice to have under their colonization rule. because Arabia owned nothing but dust, wind and thirst. Yet they bribed many Arab kings and had plans to discover oil later. Europeans had the technology to dig out oil. Religious debates & crusdaes exhausted them. Islam is yet another code of life which they never want to adopt. Arabs are adopting a western lifestyle and enjoying German technologies. They want to spend vacations in cold green pastures of Switzerland. A dazzling culture of modern Islam is in the air. The Prophet Salalahu Alayhe Wasalm prophesied earlier " A time will come when green grass will replace desert." His Salalahu Alayhe Wasalm companions asked, how can grass grow here in succumb land? Aspire Zone in Al Waab is a great example of well irrigated Park, Qatar. Below my daughter playing with her friends
Abu Hurayrah Raditala Anhu narrated that the Messenger of Allah Salalahu Alayhe Wasalm said, "The Hour will not begin until wealth increases and becomes abundant., until a man goes out with his Zakaat from his wealth and will not find anyone to accept it, and until the land of Arabs goes back to being meadows and rivers." (narrated by Muslim)
Mu'aadh ibn Jabal RA said, "We went with the Messenger of Allah Salalahu Alayhe Wasalm during the year of the compaign to Tabook, and he was joining the prayers; he Salalahu Alayhe Wasalm would pray Zuhr (afternoon prayer) together with Asr (Late afternoon prayer) and Maghrib (sunset prayer) together with Isha (night prayer) One day he Salalahu Alayhe Wasalm delayed the prayer, then he Salalahu Alayhe Wasalm came out after that and prayed Maghrib & Isha together. He Salalahu Alayhe Wasalm said "tomorrow you will come, inshaaAllah, to the spring of Tabook, but you are not going to reach it until mod-morning. Whoever of you reaches it should not touch any of it water until I come." So we came to it and two men had reached it ahead of us, and the spring was just a trickle of water like a shoelace. The Messenger of Allah Salalahu Alayhe Wasalm asked them "Did you touch any of its water?" They said "Yes," The Prophet Salalahu Alayhe Wasalm rebuked them and said to them what Allah willed he should say. Then they scooped up water from a spring, which then flowed with abundant water until the people had all drunk some. Then He pbuh said, "Soon Mu'aadh if you live a long life, you will see the space here filled with gardens." (Muslim)
The 828-metre (2,717 ft) tall Burj Khalifa in Dubai has been the world's tallest building since 2008. The Burj Khalifa has been classified as Megatall.
I am no expert in eschatology but one of the signs of Hour, which has appeared and which the Prophet Salalahu Alayhe Wasalm spoke off, is competing in building and adorning their houses after having been barefoot, naked, shepherds. Umar ibn Al Khattab Raditala Anhu narrated - Hadeeth which speaks of Jibrael and his coming to the Messenger of AllahSalalahu Alayhe Wasalm and questioning him about Islam, Emaan, Ihsan & about the Hour that the Prophet Salalahu Alayhe Wasalm told Jibrael about the signs & said "When the slave woman gives birth to her mistress and you barefoot and naked shepherds compete in the construction of lofty buildings" (Recorded by Muslim) Quran 27:16 says, "And Sulaiman (Solomon) inherited (the knowledge of Dawood, David). He said "O mankind! We have been taught the language of birds, and on us have been bestowed all things. This, verily, is an evident grace (from Allah,God)" Desert dwelling shepherds competing in building lofty buildings to show off. King Solomon's kingdom was also very advanced in technology. Not only Quran speaks off but Bible and Torah also. Hazrat Suleiman's followers could open portals. Had elm of metaphysics, energy of light and time machine and. Moving physical matter from one place to another (the throne of Queen Saba) How much are we using these technologies? What is or purpose to make higher towers? Regards, Minaam Jamil
Eids are too glamourous yet boring in Qatar, unless you have friends and family. Eid is a time which comes twice in a Year, Eid Ul Fitr and Eid Ul Adha. We find lots of Eid decorations in Qatar.
Before concieving babies, I wrote a vaseeyat for them. I put it up in their baby book. What Luqman Alayhe Salam adviced his son. Do not associate anyone with Allah, be grateful & mindful that your mom nursed you for whole 2 years. All I wish for my children is that beneficial education brings out good human beings!
Breastfeeding is so much encouraged in the Quran. One finds Warning signs even on the formula milk cartons that encourage nursing. Mother's milk changes its ingredients & consistency depending upon the needs of her baby. Is the baby thirsty? to boosts his immunity & the best part is, it is warm! It is a lovely connection between mother and baby. Allah mentions in the Quran "Mothers shall breastfeed their children for two whole years, for those who wish to complete the term" (2:233). Nursing forces mothers to relax, latch on, cuddle and Co-sleep. I am too lazy to sterilize bottles. I hate waiting for bottle warmers to blink. I would rather nurse my crying babies. I have nursed my babies everywhere with a nursing-sling on. I would wear them if relatives are coming over, on a fancy café catch up with my new mum friends. May Allah make it easier for our mothers in nurse their children Ameen
We all are somewhere in our hearts dejected. Impaired, felt terrible about our mistakes in life, want to go back and repair everything. Few relationships cannot be repaired. We are tired, lonely and desire to fill our hearts with love, joy and splendor. True happiness lies in connecting with the God concious believers and God.
We all are humans and spending our energies in the most constructive way to survive in this world. Forgive the ones who have hurt you and forget your own sins after Tawbah. This is the beauty of Islam, Allah forgives our sins (but people do not.) Getting connected to Allah All Mighty is a great way of relieving sorrows. The laws of Allah benefit us. His is the Authority and He is the Ruler. Regards, Minaam Jamil
When I first came to Qatar it was hard for me to accept women in Abaya. Because I felt really hot! it was 50 Celsius. Love for Islam and knowing the reason for covering women's body in Islam. Those who judge a lady in Abaya are racist & ignorant. The journey through a Muslim woman's Abaya does not finish on its blackness. It is an untold fable which many foreigners cannot see from their eyes & heart. When I first saw a Qatari lady in Abaya, it had a fresh & everlasting effect on my olfactory senses. It was not my eyes which attracted me. I was more like a honeybee to nectar honeybee. Yes! it was her Oud smell, the rich Essential oil which does not evaporate in heat. Although Islam discourages strong scent of perfume. And no doubt there is alot of pomp, show and glamour. The Prophet Muhammad Salalahu Alayhe Wasalam said that no muslim will smell jannah if they have kibr (pride)on a regular grocery shopping.
The Quran says “Say to the believing women that: they should cast down their glances and guard their private parts (by being chaste)” This is a similar command as given to the men in the previous verse regarding “hijab of the eyes”. This hijab of eyes is similar to the teaching of Jesus where he says, “You have heard that it was said by them of old time, you shall not commit adultery. But I say unto you, That whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart." In Arab culture, women opening up and giggling with men is a sign of immodesty. I sometimes wear an abaya over my nightdress, which completely stays a secret. Abaya-hacks; 1. Abaya Cleansing wipes (at Carrefour) which I found so helpful if you are dining out or dealing with babies. 2. Prickly Heat powder. Which consists of menthol, and it leaves a cooling effect on body, it is a disinfectant and reduces body odor. 3. Bersil, available everywhere (as Arabs do not pronounce "P" lol) |
