Sitting in Orient Pearl and observing the bunches of dates hanging from the palm trees. Clusters of dates, bunch on branches, their weight bringing them down. The more heavier it is the more lower. How beautiful Allah has created a Date tree. Wondering at the marvelous load of dates it carries. Strong gush of winds across the corniche does not uproot it. Its roots are strong enough to stand firmly underground. The wind was blowing high in the dark sky today. In Surah Ibrahim, verse 24, Allah has quoted a metaphor, where a date tree is like a beneficial human being. How can a beneficial human being be fruitful? A man who is a beacon of light for its people. A man who shakes up someone from a deadly sleep, a man who helps a soul to find peace.
A desert plant, cactus , I could not believe my eyes when I saw these charming orange flowers in my backyard.
How can a person, who bears all hardships in life and still benefit others with his positive thoughts?
Here is my best example, a Venous Fly Trap, Have you seen a monstrous, cruelhearted & hungry plant? A tiny housefly can enrage virulent processes in its digestive tract. Whipping up its prey in the most meticulous way, trapping it and gobbling it down! Man is like a beast. Once provoked can never stop, the rat race of getting more from life. Such a man is hoarding the pity things of this world, benefiting none. His greed has no limits.
And Allah says in Surah Ibrahim, verse 26, & parable of evil word is as evil tree pulled up from the earth's surface because it has no stability.
Now you decide which "plant" you want to live in this world? Being beneficial & growing in character? or being a hoarder of worldly things?
