6 houses in 4 years in Doha!
Settling in Doha is not an easy journey when nearly twice a year we had to change our house (each time for different reasons)
Early this year, we moved into an apartment from a huge Villa, downsizing was not easy! Many mothers asked me how did you fit in?
Below I'm sharing few things I did in my kitchen; catching where to buy what is difficult here.
Since Ikea is "in fashion" these days (soon Pottery Barn will be.) So we bought Ivar which gives extensive ideas for setting up a pantry.

- As Asian Kitchen has a wide range of Desi Masalas lol I got plenty of cheap baskets for them (from any local supermarket.)
- The wine bottle rack from Ikea, which I used for cans, vinegar bottles (make sure to keep the neck of the bottle is at 45 angle, just in case it does not leak.)
- The multipurpose jars at Ikea are stretched out, mind boggling because what you decide to buy at their store might change when you come back home, I liked these red air tight jars for my lentils, where I could easily see which lentil I want to cook, fast!
- Buying lazy susan for utilizing corner spaces in your kitchen, I bought mine from Home Center.
- Lid stand, which is sturdy enough to hold plates too is from Dollar Plus, City Center Mall.
- Get as many baskets in all sizes as you can, I organized fruits and vegetables in fridge using those Dollar Plus baskets.
Shall post more ideas of how to organize your kitchen while living in Doha, where to find what?
